Shanghai, September 24th, 2017 – Absolute Racing serviced teams made a spectacular return to the podium last weekend collecting two overall and two class podiums at its home track Shanghai during an action-packed and changeable weather conditions weekend of the 2017 Blancpain GT Asia Series season.

Saturday’s qualifying sessions saw OD Racing drivers qualify inside the top six, with Mitch Gilbert securing third on the race one grid and Aditya Patel three place further back, in P6, for the second race.

Bentley Continental GT3 to debut in the Blancpain Asian series New challenge for Tan and Kim Fong and Vutthikorn reunited once again

Shanghai, September 13th, 2017 – Bentley Team Absolute has confirmed that it will field two Bentley Continental GT3s for Blancpain GT Series Asia’s upcoming round at Shanghai International Circuit on September 23rd/24th.

The Shanghai-based team will enter the two cars which were seen racing in the China GT Championship earlier this season, with Hong Kong’s Adderly Fong teaming up with Thailand’s Vutthikorn Inthrapuvasak in the #20 Continental GT3. Malaysia’s Weiron Tan will race alongside Korea’s Andrew Kim in the #30 entry.

Shanghai, August 20th, 2017 – Absolute Racing serviced teams endured a tough weekend at the Fuji Speedway, the fourth round of the 2017 Blancpain GT Series Asia. Nevertheless BBT pair Anthony Liu and Davide Rizzo raced the number 37 Audi R8 LMS to a second place finish in the GT3 Pro-Am Class on Saturday’s one-hour long race.

Qualifying didn’t go quite as well as the team would hope. A red flag, caused by a GT4 car, gave drivers just six minutes to improve on their early times once the first session resumed. Kuala Lumpur, April 9th , 2017 – Absolute Racing wrote a piece of history of Asian motorsport by winning the first race of the new Blancpain GT Series Asia.

Absolute Racing fielded two Audi R8 LMS GT3 cars this weekend in the inaugural Blancpain GT Asia Series race at Sepang, Malaysia. Mitch Gilbert and Aditya Patel paired up in the #86 OD Racing Team entry and Franky Cheng Congfu joined behind the wheel by the Gentleman Driver Sun Jingzu in the #13 Milestone Racing entry.
