At least two Bentley Continental GT3s will enter the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge as Bentley Team Absolute announces a programme including entries from young American rising star Andrew Palmer and one of Asia’s top sportscar drivers, Adderly Fong.

The Pirelli World Challenge is a 20-round GT championship comprising 50-minute-long, single-driver races on eleven of America’s most historic and iconic race tracks, including Laguna Seca and Road America.  The Continental GT3 has taken race wins in the championship this year and Bentley Team Absolute is looking to continue the race car’s success in the States.

The campaign will run alongside the team’s GT Asia Series programme, in which it aims to retain its teams’ championship-winning title while claiming the drivers’ championship title.

Bringing its signature brand of exhilarating motorsports competition to millions across the region, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia has earned an impressive fan and media following since its launch in 2003. In 2011, Porsche China took over the organizational reins of the series.

Now firmly established as Asia’s premier international sportscar racing championship, the  2012 series begins a new era with a the finest group of sportscar drivers ever assembled in Asia, a record eight Porsche China dealer teams and an enviable calendar. A truly international field of drivers compete, with drivers coming from as far afield as Europe and the USA, and as close to home as China.

The 2014 GT Asia Series will start the season for the first time in Korea at the newly built Inje Autopia Circuit, close to Seoul. From there the Series heads to Japan competing at the Autopolis and Fuji Circuits before heading to Malaysia and the home circuit for many of the the Teams in Sepang
