DALLAS, Texas (June 23, 2016) – Bentley Team Absolute heads to Road America for the rounds 12 and 13 of the Pirelli World Challenge, this weekend, with its No. 88 Continental GT3 of Adderly Fong (HK). The identical No. 87 car will not run, as its driver, Andrew Palmer (US), continues to recover in the hospital.
While the team’s thoughts remain with Palmer, crew members continue to be positive and they hope to carry on their success from GT Asia a fortnight ago.
Currently 11th in the GT Drivers Championship, Fong faces yet another unknown circuit, but has the power of the 4.0L twin-turbo V8–powered Bentley Continental GT3 behind him to take on the long straights of Road America.
“It was great to get a podium in GT Asia and I’m hoping I can continue this here in Pirelli World Challenge, this weekend,” commented Fong. “I’ll miss having my team-mate alongside me; not only is [...]
[fusion_text]Team Bentley Absolute has embarked upon a new collaboration with W11.com, a well known online entertainment platform for Asia, for the 2016 GT Asia Series.

W11.com is well known and has rapidly expanded into Greater China and South East Asia. Today, W11.com has more than 80 million active members and is a fully integrated entertainment hub.
W11.com branding will appear on the pair of Bentley Continental GT3s and on the drivers’ race suits throughout the 2016 GT Asia Series season.
Ingo Matter from the Absolute Racing Team Bentley commented:

DALLAS, Texas (May 25, 2016) – After two runner-up finishes at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park last week, Bentley Team Absolute is taking its podium momentum to Lime Rock Park for the latest round of the Pirelli World Challenge championship.
It’s been a quick turnaround for Bentley Team Absolute; it had less than 34 hours to traverse 425 miles and clear customs before test sessions commenced at Lime Rock Park in northwest Connecticut. The trip was made easier by the fact that the team had just earned its first two World Challenge podiums and was carrying two second-place trophies to Lime Rock.
A legendary circuit in North America, Lime Rock Park is a short seven turns and 1.5 miles, with only one left-hand turn. Once again neither Andrew Palmer (US) nor Adderley Fong (HK) have raced at the circuit previously, but lack of track knowledge has yet to stop them from putting in strong (and podium-worthy) [...]
BOWMANVILLE, Ontario, Canada (May 23, 2016) – Neither Andrew Palmer (US) nor Adderly Fong (HK) had been to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park before, but the Bentley teammates put in their best performances of the Pirelli World Challenge season so far, coming away with two runner-up finishes.
The No. 87 and No. 88 Bentley Continental GT3s were well suited to the high-speed nature of the 11-turn, 2.548-mile road course. Fong topped the Friday practice times and Palmer held the provisional pole through the second half of qualifying before being bumped in the final seconds, while his teammate took the fourth spot on the grid.
Palmer and Fong held their ground and showed their mettle through Saturday’s race, finishing in their grid positions without any threat or challenge. A second-place finish for Palmer and fourth-place finish for Fong marked each driver’s best World Challenge result this season. Palmer’s runner-up finish is the first podium for Bentley Team [...]
DALLAS, Texas (May 18, 2016) – Following a successful weekend in the GT Asia Series, where Bentley Team Absolute dominated with two victories, the team is traveling across the globe to Mosport, Ontario, Canada for the latest rounds of the Pirelli World Challenge GT Championship.
At the Asian championship’s season opener in South Korea, two of the team’s Bentley Continental GT3s finished 1-2 in the feature race with more than 20 seconds on the third-place car. The team hopes to carry this positive momentum to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP), where drivers Andrew Palmer (US) and Adderly Fong (HK) will continue their quest for the Pirelli World Challenge GT Championship.
The No. 87 and No. 88 Bentley Continental GT3s were last in action with the Pirelli World Challenge series at Barber Motorsports Park, April 22 – 24. Bentley Team Absolute is currently fifth in the GT Team Championship, while Palmer and Fong are eighth and 12th, respectively, in the GT Driver Championship.
• Bentley Team Absolute enters three Continental GTs into GT Asia Series • The official Asian partner team looks to defend its teams’ title • Three strong line-ups all “capable of victory” in the drivers’ championship
3 May 2016, Crewe – Bentley Team Absolute has announced its GT Asia Series title defence driver line-up and confirmed it will enter three Continental GT3s into the six round championship starting at Korea International Circuit in two weeks time.
In 2015, experienced and respected race preparation outfit Team Absolute became Bentley’s Asian partner team. Together, the pair experienced great success and went on to win the manufacturer’s championship title.
As well as firmly setting its sights on defending this accolade, a line-up of familiar names to the team will return with a host of new faces, all aiming to scoop the highly sought-after GT Asia teams’ trophy.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (April 24, 2016) – Both Bentley Continental GT3s run by Bentley Team Absolute were fast the minute they arrived at Barber Motorsports Park for the latest round of the Pirelli World Challenge Championship. Drivers Adderly Fong (HK) and Andrew Palmer (USA) were able to translate this into a total of four top-10 finishes over two races.
After running near the top of practice times, the team fought against changing track conditions for qualifying courtesy of multiple tire compounds being laid down on the circuit from the various racing series.
Palmer started seventh and Fong 10th for Saturday’s race. Both dropped a position early on and spent the rest of the race trying to make it back up. Barber is a notoriously difficult circuit to pass on and despite Palmer’s best efforts he finished eighth. Fong was able to find a way around a McLaren late in the race to reclaim 10th, where he [...]
DALLAS, Texas (April 20, 2016) – There was no time to waste when Bentley Team Absolute packed up at the latest Pirelli World Challenge Championship event in Long Beach, California; it only had a few short days to get to Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. After more than 2,000 miles, the team is ready to take on its first road course since the March season opener at Circuit of the Americas.
On the heels of two-straight temporary street circuits, Bentley Team Absolute is looking forward to a classic road course, which offers more track time and less concrete walls. The flowing 2.38-mile, 15-turn Barber Motorsports Park is located just outside of Alabama’s largest city, Birmingham, and is known for its gorgeous landscape, unique artwork and motor vehicle museum.
Having both cars in one piece following the Long Beach round, Bentley Team Absolute is already in good shape without major maintenance to perform in the [...]
LONG BEACH, Calif. (April 18, 2016) – Bentley Team Absolute survived its second-straight street course unscathed and with top-10 finishes for both Andrew Palmer (US) and Adderly Fong (HK) in the Pirelli World Challenge Championship. Palmer narrowly missed out on a well-deserved fifth-place finish, but fell victim to oil on the circuit.
Palmer qualified his No. 87 Bentley Continental GT3 eighth for Sunday’s 50-minute race and had a spectacular start, moving into fifth. Soon thereafter on a restart from yellow, Palmer moved his Bentley up to fourth place, which he was able to hold until the final 10 min of the race.
Shortly after dropping to fifth and with only minutes left in the race, Palmer came upon a patch of oil put down by a damaged car and slid wide. Luckily, he avoided contact with the wall, but fell to P10, where he finished.
Fong, too, did a superb job keeping his car unscathed [...]
