Meet Andrew Palmer and Adderly Fong who drive the No. 87 and No. 88 Bentley Continental GT3s in the Pirelli World Challenge.

[fusion_text]DALLAS, Texas (March 2, 2016) – Bentley Team Absolute will make its U.S. debut this weekend at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, in the Pirelli World Challenge season opener. Drivers Andrew Palmer (US) and Adderly Fong (HK) will pilot the team’s No. 87 and No. 88 Bentley Continental GT3s.

A staple on the Asian racing scene, with success in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, GT Asia and Audi R8 LMS Cup Series, Absolute Racing now embarks on an expansion into U.S. motorsports. The team brings with it a strong partnership with Bentley Motorsport. This partnership started in October 2014 with a podium finish in the GT Asia Series at Shanghai and, in the following year, they won the 2015 GT Asia Series team championship.

At least two Bentley Continental GT3s will enter the 2016 Pirelli World Challenge as Bentley Team Absolute announces a programme including entries from young American rising star Andrew Palmer and one of Asia’s top sportscar drivers, Adderly Fong.

The Pirelli World Challenge is a 20-round GT championship comprising 50-minute-long, single-driver races on eleven of America’s most historic and iconic race tracks, including Laguna Seca and Road America.  The Continental GT3 has taken race wins in the championship this year and Bentley Team Absolute is looking to continue the race car’s success in the States.

The campaign will run alongside the team’s GT Asia Series programme, in which it aims to retain its teams’ championship-winning title while claiming the drivers’ championship title.

Beijing / Ingolstadt, 17 March 2015 – The fourth season of the Audi R8 LMS Cup blasts into action this weekend at Southern China’s Zhuhai International Circuit from March 21-22. New innovations for 2015 include a standing start for Race 2, while qualifying becomes a nail-biting affair with a Super Pole individual time trial for the top eight cars following the first qualifying session. In addition to the Race Success Ballast, 2015 introduces a new driver weight equalization system, creating an even more level-playing field.
