Chinese rising star Leo Ye Hongli will join Absolute Racing in the Blancpain GT World Series Asia at the Suzuka International Racing Course on June 22/23. The 27-year-old driver will pair up with Yuan Bo in the #912 Absolute Racing Porsche 911 GT3-R.
Leo Ye, who has earned accolades in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship and Asian Le Mans Series, debuted in the Blancpain GT Series Asia in 2017 and took part in the first three events of 2018, finishing second overall in Round 3 in Buriram.
The 2018 China Touring Car champion is no stranger to Porsche cars having represented China in the first running of the FIA GT Nations Cup last year in Bahrain at the wheel of a Porsche 911 GT3-R.
