The Audi Sport Team Absolute Racing celebrated a superb podium in the Suzuka 10 Hours race today (26 August). Audi Sport drivers Christopher Haase/Kelvin van der Linde/Markus Winkelhock brought their #6 Audi R8 LMS home in third place after the ten hour-long race.

In the Pro/Am class, the #13 Absolute Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 of Cheng Congfu, Adderly Fong and Sun Jingzu finished sixth in class, 22nd overall.

The 47th running of the Suzuka Summer Endurance Race in Japan was an incredibly tough race and attracted a stellar entry of GT3 cars for round three of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Absolute Racing is all set for one of the biggest challenges on the GT calendar, the 10-hour race at the sensational Suzuka circuit in Japan (24/25 August), the third round of the 2018 Intercontinental GT Challenge.

As previously announced, Audi Sport drivers Christopher Haase and Markus Winkelhock, who scored full points at Intercontinental GT Challenge round of Spa-Francorchamps, are joined by Kelvin van der Linde in the – Audi Sport customer racing supported Audi R8 LMS #6 Audi Sport Team Absolute Racing entry for this event.

A Pro/Am privateer Audi R8 LMS from Absolute Racing completes the lineup. The two Chinese Sun Jingzu and Congfu Cheng, who was a Blancpain GT Series Asia race winner with Absolute Racing at Suzuka earlier this year, as well as Adderly Fong from Hong Kong have been determined as #13 Absolute Racing drivers.
