B-Quik Absolute Racing heads to Sepang International Circuit this week for Asia’s most prestigious endurance race, the Sepang 12 Hour, with firm focus on chasing victory.

The #26 B-Quik Absolute Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II finished on the overall podium last year, one place behind its sister Absolute Racing-entered Audi, on the second running of the returning race and the first time it was the full 12-hour format again.

For the 2025 race it will have a driver roster that’s been assembled without compromise, Henk Kiks, Akash Nandy and Sandy Stuvik. All three drivers are in fact former Thailand Super Series – Super Car GT3 champions and two of the three drivers from last year have been retained, namely Kiks and Nandy.

Last year that duo led the line during a stunning recovery drive after the #26 Audi was punted by a rival at the start which saw it spin down the order, collect a puncture and lose two laps all within a few minutes of the start. An incredible following 12 hours saw Henk and his two team mates battle through the field relentlessly to finish on the podium, just a minute and twenty seconds adrift of the winners.

Team leader Kiks, brings vast experience to the equation, a former TSS Super Car GT3 Am title winner he was core to B-Quik Racing winning the ‘GT Cup’ in this race back in 2016, a result which capped off three podiums from three consecutive starts, the win coming in the final year before a hiatus in the running of this classic endurance race.

Nandy has been one of the revelations of GT3 racing in Asia in the past few years and is a former TSS Super Car GT3 champion, he comes off the back of a successful debut year in Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia that netted him his first overall win. Sepang is his home circuit, he knows it inside out, has enjoyed many wins here and will have plenty of fans cheering him on.

Completing the star-studded lineup will be Stuvik. A former triple Super Car GT3 overall champion, he comes off the back of another successful season in the Thai series, finishing runner up last year.

Absolute Racing will enter a second Audi R8 LMS Evo II for the HZO Fortis Team, driven by Malaysian trio Haziq Oh, Hairie Oh, and Aaron Lim.

No strangers to this endurance event, the drivers made their GT3 racing debut last year in this race.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia – Lamborghini Cup title winners faced a challenging yet insightful weekend at the 5.5km FIA Grade 1 circuit.

Despite early setbacks, the team demonstrated resilience, securing fourth place in the GT3 Am class and finishing 11th overall.

Armed with valuable experience from last year’s edition and the 2024 season, where they secured a runner-up finish in the GT3 Am class at the Shanghai 8 Hours, the homegrown trio are determined to mount an even stronger challenge in both the race and the GT3 Am category this time around.

The team believes it’s assembled two lineups that can challenge for honours.

The Sepang 12 Hour 2025 takes place on Saturday 15 March with the 12-hour race set to go to green lights at 1015 and finish at 2215.
