B-Quik Absolute Racing is pleased to announce its entry for the Bangsaen Grand Prix, the biggest and most prestigious race in Thailand, which takes place next weekend.

This year will see the 16th edition of the Bangsaen Grand Prix, as ever being held on the famous seaside street circuit in Chonburi Province. With the sprawling paddock located next to the beach and a dramatic and challenging 3.7 km temporary track plus the return of international series post-Covid, it’s the one every driver and team wants to win and it’s the same story for B-Quik Absolute Racing.

We have a lineup that will be targeting winning in Super Car GT3 and Super Car GT4.

We have a few changes to our driver roster due to clashing commitments and we’re going to start with Vincent Lin, who has been a revelation since joining us. For Bangsaen he will pair up with Christopher Haase.

It will be the German superstar’s first appearance in Bangsaen and indeed Thailand Super Series, but he needs no introduction having raced with us for the past two editions of the Sepang 12 Hour, both times helping to drive us onto a hotly contested overall podium.

We expect him to be fast out of the box, as we do with Lin, who will also be starting his first Bangsaen Grand Prix. Lin is right in the title fight too after the season opener where he claimed two third place finishes.

Deng Yi and Sandy Stuvik will start their second race together in the Winhere by B-Quik Absolute Racing Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II. They got up and running in the season opener, capping off the weekend with a trip to the podium in Race 2. With that behind them we expect the pair to be pushing hard into the mix in Bangsaen.

Stuvik is a former three times Super Car GT3 Champion with B-Quik Absolute Racing and has also won Bangsaen in black and yellow so he will be gunning to help Yi get to grips with the track on the Chinese driver’s first time here and push for a big result.

We’re very pleased to pair up Henk Kiks and Adisak Tangphuncharoen in the #25 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II, which will make for a very well-rounded pairing that can chase GT3 AM honours. Both drivers are team regulars but this will be the first time they have shared a car.

Blending the vast experience of Kiks, team founder and owner, with the promise of Tangphuncharoen, a future star in the making, adds up to quite an exciting combination.

Returning to the series are the Chinese duo Li Xuanyu and 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Champion Daniel Lu Wenlong. Both drivers competed for B-Quik Absolute Racing in the 2023 season finale in Buriram and will aim to replicate or improve upon their podium finish in their first race together in the series.

And then straight into Super Car GT4 where Kiks will also be in action as he’s campaigning a full season in the #26 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport with Erwin de Smit.

This all-Dutch duo claimed a double podium in the season opener and will be looking for more next weekend, clearly eyeing up the top step as they mount a title push.

The second Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport will have an exciting pairing as the reigning Super Car GT4 champion Iaro Razanakoto, will pair up with the B-Quik Junior Programme’s Sathaporn Veerachue.

The Madagascan ace won the GT4 title last year in what was his first full season with the team while for Veerachue it will be his first time to step up to Super Car. He is following in the footsteps of Tangphuncharoen, although the promising B-Quik Junior did enter a full season in TA2 Thailand a few years back. Both also have plenty of Bangsaen experience to call upon and they should be a pairing to look out for.

The 16th edition of the Bangsaen Grand Prix takes place this year from 3-7 July.
