We’re very excited to create a new “dream team” pairing in Super Car GT4 for TSS The Super Series 2024.

Team veteran Henk Kiks will join forces with fellow countryman Erwin de Smit to race the #26 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport in Super Car GT4, which looks to be a hugely competitive category this year and will include brands such as Aston Martin, Mercedes and Toyota as well as several rival Cayman GT4 RS Clubsports.

Henk brings vast knowledge to the cockpit. Founder of B-Quik Racing and lead driver for more than a decade and a half he includes overall TSS Super Car GT3 wins to his name as well as the Super Car GT3 AM title and a win and a string of podiums at the Sepang 12 Hours amongst his honours.

He’s razor sharp to go too, having been part of the crew that made a stunning recovery drive in last month’s Sepang 12 Hours to finish on the podium despite early race misfortunes out of their hands that cost their car several laps.

Henk is also reunited with the Porsche brand after a career that saw him race for several Super Car seasons in a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup (in what is now Super Car GTM) as well as a Porsche 997 GT3-R in Super Car GT3. He has also raced a Porsche 944 for a decade in Asia Classic Car Challenge.

Erwin brings rawness – and raw speed to the equation. Although he has raced very little so far, the Thailand-based Dutchman made his debut in Super Car GT4 last year at the TSS round in Sepang following a year long coaching programme and promptly won his debut race alongside triple Super Car GT3 champion Sandy Stuvik. He’s ready to make another step forward this year.

Unlike the original “Flying Dutchman” we don’t expect Henk and Erwin to be all at sea and have very high expectations for this pacey all-Dutch line-up.

We believe that all the ingredients are there in a well-rounded package of drivers, car and crew to chase a hotly fought crown in what is shaping up to be South East Asian’s most competitive racing category this year and retain the 2023 titles that were won by B-Quik Absolute Racing in the Super Car GT4 category.

Henk Kiks: “I’m pretty excited to be teaming up with Erwin, who demonstrated last year he has what it takes to be a winner. It’s going to be quite a change for me to race in GT4 this year after a decade in GT3 cars but it’s a very exciting new challenge and I’m really looking forward to it. As we say at B-Quik Absolute Racing we aren’t here to make up numbers, we’re only here to win races and titles, we have a ruthless desire to be first past the flag, so clearly those are our targets this year.”

Erwin de Smit: “It feels so good to start racing again for my first full season at TSS. I want to thank Sandy for all the knowledge and training we did last year and this together with the help of the great engineers and hardworking mechanics at B-Quik Absolute Racing gives me confidence enough to race the Porsche Cayman GT4 together with Henk Kiks for my first time at Chang International Circuit. This year goal is to learn from my very experienced and fast teammate Henk to bring the laps in, gain confidence, enjoy and become faster. See you at Buriram.”
