Driving the Absolute Racing-run FAW Audi Racing Team Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II alongside reigning GT Super Sprint Challenge GT3 champion Hu Bo, Cheng Congfu clinched victory in the GT3 PRO-AM category at the 2023 China Endurance Championship (CEC) season finale hosted at the state-of-the-art Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit in Sichuan Province.

The action-packed weekend commenced with an intense qualifying session on Saturday, where the FAW Audi Racing Team seized the coveted pole position, setting the stage for a gripping showdown.

As the lights went out, Hu Bo took control of the wheel at the start and had a good getaway. However, the race took a dramatic turn when a fellow Audi competitor caused Hu to spin unexpectedly on the opening lap. Undeterred, Hu brought the FAW Audi Racing Team Audi into the pits, where the team's mechanic crew worked tirelessly in the car to rejoin the race and remain in contention for the GT3 PRO-AM title.

With Cheng Congfu now behind the wheel, FAW Audi Racing Team Audi roared back into the competition, launching a spirited comeback. Cheng masterfully built on his teammate's efforts, steadily climbing through the ranks.

The team's resilience paid off as they crossed the finish line in sixth place, securing not only a commendable race result but also clinching the GT3 PRO-AM Drivers' title for Cheng Congfu.
