Absolute Racing had every reason to celebrate following another impressive performance by its drivers in the latest round of the GT Super Sprint Challenge at the prestigious 5.451km Shanghai International Circuit. In addition to several class wins and silverware, HEHEHE Racing's 'Magic Bear' driver delivered two dominant victories in the GT4 class, securing the class title with two races remaining this season. Hu Bo's double podium have placed him in a privileged position to vie for the GT3 class title.

Expectations ran high for GT3 class leader Hu Bo, driving the distinctive pink-liveried Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II. He did not disappoint, claiming a second-place finish in the opening race at Shanghai, further solidifying his position atop the category. In addition, Hu Bo clinched a victory in the GT3 Am class. During the second race, Hu Bo primarily defended his third position, successfully maintaining it. He now enjoys a comfortable 16-point lead heading into the final event of the season.

Hu Bo’s consistently-strong performance this season sees him climb the Audi Sport Asia Trophy leaderboard after round four of GTSSC, moving up to second place behind current leader, the Audi Sport Asia Team Absolute driver Andrew Haryanto.

Motivated by an impressive debut in the TSS The Super Series at Sepang, Vincent Lin commenced the weekend with a third-place finish in the GT3 Am class, a performance he improved upon by winning Sunday's race in the same class, ultimately crossing the finish line second overall. The reigning GT4 class champion is currently in contention for the vice-champion title in the GT3 class.

HEHEHE Racing's Steven Zhou wrapped up both races in sixth place, securing double second-place finishes in the GT3 Am+ class. In the second race, he could have achieved a higher position, but a late spin cost him two places in the classification.

The standout performer of the weekend was 'MagicBear.' The newcomer to the series achieved a remarkable feat by securing a double victory in the GT4 class driving his HEHEHE Racing Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. These were his fourth and fifth wins of the season, which proved sufficient for him to clinch the GT4 class title with one event remaining.

Team Manager Ingo Matter said: “Congratulations to MB and the entire team for their tireless efforts in securing this title. The GT4 class serves as an excellent introduction to GT racing and a stepping stone to higher levels. Winning the GT4 class for the third consecutive year exemplifies our team's unwavering dedication and commitment to nurturing new talent in the sport. We are delighted to see Hu Bo, Vincent, and Steven earning silverware, and we are excited about the possibility of our two drivers finishing 1-2 in the GT3 class standings.”
