The fifth and final round of TSS The Super Series 2025 took the teams back where they had started the year off six months ago, Buriram’s Chang International Circuit.
In the meantime, the series has taken in the iconic Bangsaen Grand Prix and two rounds at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit.
Finally on a pleasant and dry early November weekend it was time to wrap up the season – and with a rejigged driver lineup.
Kiki Sak Nana and Karol Basz reprised their partnership of the opening round since when both have enjoyed barnstorming seasons in Europe.
And that form really showed up as they planted the #786 Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II on the podium in both races, fifth in Saturday’s first race they went two better in Sunday’s second 1 hour encounter as they fought tenaciously to finish an impressive third overall.
Henk Kiks and Sandy Stuvik also rounded out the year in style with a fourth and a fifth place overall from the two races. The Dutch-Thai pairing have never finished off the podium all year – 10 podiums from 10 races caps off a very strong and consistent year for the new #26 Porsche 911 GT3-R.
In Super Car GT4, Iaro Razanakoto and Sathaporn Veerachue had a seesaw weekend in the #32 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport. A sensor issue tipped them out at the start of Saturday race but they bounced back in superb style on Sunday.
They enjoyed a stunning afternoon at a sunny Chang International Circuit, the pair combining superbly to not only comfortably lead the GT4 AM class from the green lights but to smash their way up the order and into the overall lead of the race from where they controlled matters to manage a gap to their rivals all the way to the chequered flag, Razanakoto in particular cheered all the way by a large and passionate contingent of Madagascan fans in the grandstand.
It could so easily have been a win and although they crossed the finish line first – a retroactively applied 5 second time penalty saw them placed third overall in the final standings but still comfortably first in GT4 AM. A real bounce back after their early exit yesterday and a fantastic end to the weekend.
That concludes TSS The Super Series 2025 and we would like to thank – as always – the organizers for their hard work in creating a world class championship and we are already excited for the 2026 season when we will have new and bigger plans to announce and roll out.
However, now B-Quik Absolute Racing turns its immediate attention to the new 12-hour race in Sepang next month, the countdown is already on!
