HZO Fortis Racing by Absolute Racing will join GT World Challenge Asia by AWS this coming weekend at Fuji Speedway, when Bronze-rated line-up Aaron Lim and Haziq Oh take over the No.20 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO.
New to the pan-continental GT championship, the Malaysian pairing is already well known to the team. Haziq Oh and Aaron Lim claimed a GT3 Am class podium at last season's Shanghai 8 Hours and also competed in the 12 Hours of Sepang. Haziq Oh further strengthened his ties with the squad by racing for HZO Fortis Racing by Absolute Racing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia.
Model car manufacturer Trends Hobby has joined forces with HZO Fortis Racing by Absolute Racing for this campaign, which is set to be extended until the end of the season. The partnership will be celebrated with a stunning pop-art makeover for the No.20 Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO, transforming the machine into a moving masterpiece for Rounds 5 and 6 of GT World Challenge Asia.
The car will carry a livery inspired by a range of iconic images from American artist Keith Haring's body of work, which collectively convey themes of peace, love, hope, and inclusion. Haring, whose bold, cartoon-like pop art emerged from New York City's 1980s graffiti subculture, gained fame through spontaneous chalk drawings on blank black subway advertising panels, creating a distinctive visual language of lively, animated figures. The livery hopes to inspire growing motorsport fandom across Asia.
The two 60-minute GT World Challenge Asia races take place on Saturday and Sunday, 11-12 July.

Fabien Fior
“We’re delighted to welcome Haziq and Aaron to our GT World Challenge Asia line-up. They already know the team well, but this represents a completely new challenge in one of the most competitive GT championships in the region. Although they will be racing a new car, we have every confidence they will adapt quickly and establish themselves as strong contenders in the Bronze class. We’re looking forward to seeing what they can achieve together over the remainder of the season.”

“Making my GT World Challenge Asia debut is both a dream come true and an exciting new challenge. After three seasons in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia, stepping up to GT3 machinery in the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) EVO is the biggest leap of my racing career so far. To be competing against some of the strongest AM drivers in the region is exactly the level of competition I’ve been aiming for. I’m under no illusions about how steep the learning curve will be, but with HZO Fortis Racing by Absolute Racing and my team-mate Aaron Lim beside me, I’m confident we have everything we need to make solid progress. The goal for the upcoming race weekends is simple: learn as much as possible, build my pace race by race, and deliver clean, consistent performances for the team. I can’t wait to get started at Fuji.”
