Absolute Racing is gearing up for a formidable return to the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia (LSTA) season, with its affiliated teams, SODA-GRIT Motorsport and HZO Fortis Team by Absolute Racing, returning with renewed ambition. Further bolstering its presence on the grid, Absolute Racing is also introducing a new entry, Delta Garage Racing Team by Absolute Racing.
Brian Changwoo Lee will once again take the wheel of the #63 SQDA-GRIT Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2. The fan-favourite Korean driver—who is also a successful business owner and social media influencer—clinched last season’s AM class title with an impressive nine class victories in 12 races, all of which he won as a solo driver.
A regular contender for overall podium finishes last season, he will once again be at the helm of the Lamborghini Seoul Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, but this time competing in the PRO-AM class Lining up alongside him will be Alex Liang Jiatong, an experienced Chinese GT driver and Macau Grand Prix Greater Bay GT Cup winner. Liang brings a wealth of experience from previous outings in the series, strengthening the team’s challenge in the upcoming season.
The HZO Fortis Team by Absolute Racing saw brothers Haziq Zairel Oh and Hairie Zairel Oh dominate the Lamborghini Cup class last season, securing an impressive eleven victories. Under the guidance of experienced tutor and driver coach Aaron Lim, Oh brothers demonstrated remarkable growth and skill on the track. Their last year’s success was further highlighted by a podium finish at the Shanghai 8 Hours endurance race.
Building on their achievements, Haziq and Hairie Oh are set to advance to the AM class for the 2025 season, continuing their association with the #5 HZO Fortis Team by Absolute Racing. This progression marks a significant step in their racing careers, as they aim to replicate and surpass their previous successes in a more competitive category.
Joining the Absolute Racing stable for 2025 is Delta Garage Racing Team in the AM category. The newly-entered #86 Delta Garage Racing Team by Absolute Racing Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2 will be driven by Indonesian touring car racers Dypo Fitramadhan and Umar Abdullah, both of whom recently competed in the TCR Asia series with Delta Garage Racing.
Fitramadhan contested the 2024 TCR Asia season, securing one race win, two podium finishes, and finishing third in the championship standings with 14 points. He also made an appearance in the 2024 Macau Grand Prix, part of the TCR World Tour. His teammate, Umar Abdullah, also impressed in the 2024 TCR Asia season, claiming one victory and three podium finishes. Notably, Abdullah secured his maiden TCR Asia win at Buriram, marking the 50th triumph of the year for the Honda Civic Type R TCR.
All three teams will campaign the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 2, a purpose-built race car featuring an aggressive aerodynamic package, improved downforce, and enhanced braking performance. Powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, the Super Trofeo Evo 2 delivers blistering speed and precision handling, making it one of the most formidable race cars in one-make GT racing.
The 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia calendar features six rounds across multiple countries, culminating in the World Finals at Misano. The season opens with its debut race in Australia, at Sydney Motorsport Park, on 5–6 April. The series will then visit some of Asia's most iconic circuits, including Shanghai, Fuji, Inje, and Sepang, before concluding at Italy’s Misano World Circuit, which will host both the final round and the prestigious Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals.
