B-Quik Absolute Racing is pleased to announce its first four cars for TSS The Super Series 2024 comprising of three entries in Super Car GT3 and a further one in Super Car GT4.

The team will be looking to continue its current run of Super Car GT3 Teams’ championship titles as well as reclaiming the Drivers’ title which it most recently won in 2022.

In building on the strengths of last year, driver development and with a focus on optimizing Pro and Am lineups the driving roster has been tweaked for this year to create pairings that can chase for the Drivers’ title, a mix of established drivers along with new and returning drivers.

First up is the new pairing of 2022 Super Car GT3 Drivers’ champion and 2023 runner up Akash Nandy and Sri Lankan hotshot Eshan Pieris. Both drivers will be starting their third season with the team in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II and as two of the fastest young drivers in Asia that are right up to speed and are ready to make big a step forward, it’s logical now to pair them together.

Both come off the back of a superb performance in the Sepang 12 Hours last month, both finished on the overall podium, albeit in different cars, Nandy driving a B-Quik Absolute Racing Audi while Pieris was in an Absolute Racing Porsche.

However, due to other commitments both drivers will miss the Bangsaen Grand Prix, making their title challenge extra demanding.

China’s Vincent Lin, who raced to a string of impressive podium finishes after he joined mid season, as well as claiming podiums for the team in the Singapore Grand Prix support race, will be joined in the third Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II by German former F1 superstar driver Markus Winkelhock, who will be starting his full second year with the team.

The team was hugely impressed by Lin straight out of the box and we are confident this is another pairing that can make a serious title tilt.

Winkelhock will, however, be unavailable for Bangsaen, so Christopher Haase, who has raced in our #26 car to two podiums finishes in the last two editions of the Sepang 12 Hour, 2023 and 2024, will deputise specially for the Chonburi Province street race.

Another driver to impress us last year when he also made sporadic appearances after mid season is China’s Huang Ruohan. The team will place him alongside Adisak Tangphuncharoen, the emerging star of the B-Quik Junior Programme, who will be starting his second year in Super Car GT3 and therefore should be very well positioned to build on the experience he gained last year as well as the clear pace at this top level he has demonstrated.

We will announce the crew of the fourth Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II within the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, in Super Car GT4 where we are looking to defend both the Drivers’ and Teams’ titles, we are pleased to anounce a very strong lineup for the #26 Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport.

Erwin de Smit, who made a sensational debut in TSS last year by winning his first ever Super Car race (alongside Sandy Stuvik) will be joined by our team leader Henk Kiks, who is swapping out of GT3 for a season to complete this eye catching lineup, that also makes for an all Dutch crew. Kiks’ long experience and proven pace, coupled to the obvious talent that Smit has ready to unlock, makes this a driver lineup with its eyes firmly on a title tilt.

We will announce the crew for the second Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport before the start of the 2024 TSS season which kicks off at Buriram’s Chang International Circuit on 2-5 May.

For the first time the series will comprise five rounds, the remainder of the calendar comprising of the Bangsaen Grand Prix and two rounds at Malaysia’s Sepang International Circuit before the series returns to Buriram for the season closer.
