Tsingtao Brewery was founded in August 1903 in Qingdao as the Germania-Brauerei Tsingtao Co., Ltd. by German and British merchants. In 1993, it went public on both Hong Kong and Shanghai Stock Exchanges. As one of the earliest breweries in China, Tsingtao is now among the world’s top 500 brands and available in more than 120 countries and regions. Tsingtao brings together a unique formula of bold Chinese craftsmanship, refined German technology and the most extraordinary selection of ingredients to craft a truly refreshing beer.

Over the course of 120 years of brewing excellence, it is in Tsingtao's DNA to break traditions and evolve to offer consumers best possible beer while having as much fun.

Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific customer team Absolute Racing is one of the most prominent racing outfits in the Asian region and will try to win for the fifth time the Macau GT Cup at the Macau’s Guia Circuit this weekend.

The 6.12-kilometre Guia Circuit is one of the most iconic in world motorsport, with its narrow track and tight corners mixed with long straight and fast, flowing sections. Tight, technical corners, elevation and conditions changes, and a 280km/h top speed make experience at Macau’s unforgiving Guia street circuit critical. With high walls and zero run-off, mistakes that might cost a second on a normal circuit can cost a race.

Matteo Cairoli, #120 Absolute Racing Porsche driver, said: “I’m thrilled to be competing in my first ever FIA Macau GT World Cup race with Absolute Racing and Tsingtao. It’s been a long wait but I’m both proud and happy to have this opportunity. I’ve been preparing by studying the track, watching onboards and I’m determined to be as ready as possible. I can’t wait to get started and I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing experience.”

Ingo Matter, Team Director of Absolute Racing, added: “We’re pleased to welcome Tsingtao, a brand with a great heritage in different sports series around the world, to our Absolute Racing partner family. After the races, we look forward to toasting a bottle of Tsingtao together at Macau this weekend.”
