Absolute Racing driver Huang Ruohan has clinched the 2024 Audi Sport Asia Trophy after an outstanding season, which saw him shine in two of the region’s most prestigious championships: Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia and TSS The Super Series.

China’s Huang emerged victorious in the contest, which is open to all privateers racing with Audi machinery in the region. As the winner, he takes home a €50,000 parts credit for the 2025 season, along with the coveted trophy.

In the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia, Huang was partnered by Markus Winkelhock in the Pro-Am category. Together, they secured a memorable overall win in Thailand and followed it up with a class victory in Okayama. In TSS The Super Series, Huang raced in six events with B-Quik Absolute Racing, competing alongside Adisak Tangphuncharoen in three races and Vincent Lin in the other three. He won one overall race and five class victories, along with three overall podiums throughout the six encounters.

Taking third place in the standings was B-Quik Absolute Racing team principal and passionate GT3 privateer Henk Kiks. Kiks’ successful season included an overall podium in the Sepang 12 Hours, an Am class podium in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia alongside Rodney Jane, and two additional class wins in TSS The Super Series with Tangphuncharoen.

A total of 94 privateers earned points towards the Audi Sport Asia Trophy, which celebrates its fifth year in 2024. Competitors raced in Audi R8 LMS GT3, GT4, or RS 3 LMS cars across the region’s top championships.

Huang now joins the prestigious ranks of the Audi Sport Asia Hall of Fame, alongside former Absolute Racing drivers and past winners, including Daniel Bilski (2020), Hu Bo (2021), Chris Chia (2022), and last year’s recipient Andrew Haryanto.
