While the conclusion of the season may not have unfolded according to Absolute Racing's ideal script, the team found numerous reasons to celebrate during the climactic weekend of the 2023 Fanatec GT World Challenge Asia powered by AWS season at Malaysia's prestigious 5.543km Sepang International Circuit.
It was another intense weekend for the Absolute Racing teams in the GT World Challenge Asia by AWS event in Okayama, Japan.
Driving the Absolute Racing-run FAW Audi Racing Team Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II alongside reigning GT Super Sprint Challenge GT3 champion Hu Bo, Cheng Congfu clinched victory in the GT3 PRO-AM category at the 2023 China Endurance Championship (CEC) season finale hosted at the state-of-the-art Chengdu Tianfu International Circuit in Sichuan Province.
Cheng Congfu and AM partner Chris Chia took their Absolute Racing-run FAW Audi Racing Team R8 LMS GT3 evo II to an emphatic overall victory in round three of the China Endurance Championship (CEC) after 82 laps of the 4.010km Ningbo International Speedpark, crossing the line with a margin of more than 14 seconds.
The fifth and final round of TSS The Super Series 2025 took the teams back where they had started the year off six months ago, Buriram’s Chang International Circuit.
